Wednesday 6:15 PM In spite of its huge commitment to Windows Phone, Microsoft (MSFT) appears to be readying a major iOS/Android product rollout. BGR reports Microsoft will release versions of Office that run on the iPad and Android tablets in November, and AppleInsider claims the company plans to release iOS apps for its Outlook/Exchange and Lync platforms by October. The iPad/Android versions of Office will arrive around the same time as the Office 15 and Windows 8 launches.

- Wednesday 3:54 PM The ITC judge who in April declared Microsoft's (MSFT) Xbox 360 to be infringing 4 Motorola Mobility (GOOG) patents has now ruled the 360 should face a U.S. import and sales ban. However, the ruling can only be enforced following a review by the full commission, and Microsoft has its own ITC victory as a card to play in the dispute. Motorola has asked for a 2.25% royalty on sales of the 360 and other Microsoft products. [Tech]
- Wednesday 12:41 PM An L.A. Times article about a 2010 game-development contract between Activision (ATVI) and developer Bungie suggest the next Xbox (MSFT) will be called the Xbox 720, and arrive in fall 2013. Past rumors (I, II, III) have suggested the device will sport an ARM-based (ARMH) CPU and AMD graphics processor, and will be accompanied by a low-end model focused on Kinect play. [Tech]
- Wednesday 10:28 AM For whom the Dell tolls: As the IT giant's FQ1 miss and commentary lead to a tech selloff, PC-related names get hit harder than most, no doubt thanks to the 10% drop seen in Dell's (DELL -15.8%) notebook sales. Rival H-P (HPQ -4.4%), due to report this afternoon, is among the biggest losers. Also selling off: INTC -3.1%. MSFT -3.2%. AMD -3.1%. LOGI -3.3%. (more on DELL) [Tech, On the Move]
- Wednesday 9:45 AM Microsoft (MSFT) and WPP (WPPGY) agree a 3-year deal that will allow them to place and sell online ads for the brands and Internet publishers they work. The aim is to better match the supply and demand of ad inventory, with Microsoft partners AOL and Yahoo (YHOO) also set to benefit, especially in gaining access to premium ads. [Tech]
- Tuesday 5:09 PM In an interview with FierceMobile, Zynga (ZNGA) mobile VP Travis Boatman says his company is focused on maintaining a "freemium" model for its games, while occasionally charging for ad removal and other features. He also suggests Zynga is open to developing for Windows Phone (MSFT, NOK), but doesn't provide any firm commitments. Separately, Zynga has announced a partnership with American Express that allows cardholders to earn Zynga virtual game cash. [Tech]
- Tuesday 12:28 PM Apple (AAPL) still has the world's most valuable brand, according to BrandZ's annual study, which estimates its value has risen 19% Y/Y to $182.9B. IBM is believed to have passed Google (GOOG) for the #2 spot thanks to a 15% increase, while McDonald's (MCD) is seen holding steady at #4 in spite of a 17% gain. Also in the top 10: Microsoft (MSFT), Coca-Cola (KO), Marlboro (PM), AT&T (T), Verizon (VZ), and China Mobile (CHL). [Tech, Consumer]
